About Me
I’m Lynn Sherard-Stuhr, BSN, RN, the founder of To-Tell-The-Truth Publishing, LLC.
Initially, my only mission was to empower teens and parents by publishing insightful books that inspire and guide them.
However, as I journeyed through the publishing process, my passion for writing was reawakened. My interests have evolved into an eclectic mix, covering subjects from teens and parenting to retirement, healthcare, navigating dying and grief, downsizing, and much more.
My work with youth began as a co-founder and later as the executive director of El Nido, a teen center for at-risk youth in Sonoma, California. Recently, I have collaborated with teens (most the children of girls who attended El Nido) in writing our upcoming book, “Life Skills for Teens: Rise Above Adversity,” due out before the end of 2023.
My nursing career commenced in neurology at a hospital, and I’ve worked in various roles, including at Planned Parenthood, hospice, home care, and advice nursing.
I retired from nursing shortly after losing my husband of 39 years.
Drawing from this rich background, I’ve gained a unique perspective on life’s challenges and triumphs. I thoroughly enjoy sharing knowledge and experiences across these diverse areas.
